The ScreenFundr 5K Short Film Run is a $5,000 USD funding opportunity created to help filmmakers take a short film from development into production. Administered by ScreenFundr and supported through platform operations and membership revenue, this fund, subject to funds raised, is designed to spotlight bold, original storytelling while giving filmmakers a practical pathway to move their projects forward. If the target is unmet, it extends to the next cycle; shortlists auto-rollover. The selected project will receive $5,000 USD toward production of their short film project at any stage of development.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Sign Up for ScreenFundr PRO: Gain access to premium funding opportunities and tools.

• Create Your Project Page: Use the ScreenFundr Project Page in your dashboard to build a comprehensive profile for your project, including your film’s synopsis, budget, and timeline.

• Submit Your Application: Complete the submission form on the right with your project details and confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria.  

• Early Bird Perk: Submissions received from Jan 23-31 get priority judging in Cycle 1.
